Vector Finance Private Limited has been chosen under “Asian Development Bank’s Technical Assistance Project: for supporting MFIs”. Under the project BASIX Consulting is the Technical Partner along with Sa-Dhan to provide institutional strengthening activities in certain identified areas.

This technical assistance (TA) is aimed at helping selected MFIs to improve operational efficiencies, reduce costs and prepare for future crisis-related scenarios. The TA is directed towards small and mid-sized MFIs that traditionally serve rural and peri-urban borrowers. The technical partner will provide support in the following topics which can be delivered and adapted to different levels of board, management, field, and office staff as appropriate for each MFI namely a) Corporate Governance b) Consumer Protection Principles c) Risk Management d) Business Continuity Planning (BCP) in crisis-related scenarios.

Going forward this may also help us in qualifying under potential future onboarding to the “Microfinance Risk Participation and Guarantee Program (MFP) of the Private Sector Financial Institutions Division (PSFI) of ADB.
